About the Role
We are looking for a Tax Lead Indirect Tax who will be responsible for end-to-end management of Indirect Tax compliance, litigation, and return filings. This is a critical role that requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to engage with stakeholders at multiple levels.
Role & responsibilities
Manage Indirect Tax compliance including GST and other applicable taxes.
Prepare, review, and ensure timely filing of statutory returns.
Handle tax assessments, departmental audits, and litigation matters effectively.
Monitor and analyze changes in tax laws, rules, and regulations; implement required changes.
Liaise with consultants, auditors, and government authorities on tax matters.
Ensure accurate tax accounting, reconciliations, and proper documentation.
Provide internal advisory support on indirect tax implications of business decisions.
Preferred candidate profile
CA / CMA / LLB / MBA (Finance/Taxation) or equivalent qualification.
58 years of experience in Indirect Taxation with strong exposure to compliance and litigation.
Hands-on expertise in GST filings, audits, and assessments.
Strong research and analytical ability to interpret laws and notifications.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
