We are looking for a skilled
WordPress Developer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating and customizing WordPress themes and plugins. This role requires a solid mix of programming skills (PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and an eye for design (understanding layouts, colors, typography, and user experience). The candidate should be passionate about web technologies and have a strong understanding of WordPress and modern industry trends.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage new features and functionality for WordPress websites.
  • Establish and guide the architecture of WordPress sites.
  • Ensure high performance, speed optimization, scalability, and availability of websites.
  • Customize existing themes and plugins or create new ones as needed.
  • Convert design mockups and wireframes into responsive and fully functional websites.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress, hosting, and integrations.
  • Ensure cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device compatibility.
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in WordPress and web development.
  • Implement SEO best practices and integrate analytics tools where required.
  • Maintain website security by implementing updates, patches, and backups.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in
    PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
    .
  • Proven experience in building and customizing WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Hands-on experience with
    Avada, Elementor, and other modern WordPress page builders
    .
  • Experience in designing and developing
    responsive and adaptive websites
    .
  • Strong understanding of CSS changes and their impact across browsers and platforms.
  • Ability to integrate and interact with
    RESTful APIs (JSON, XML)
    .
  • Experience working with
    MySQL databases
    .
  • Proficiency in version control tools (e.g.,
    Git
    ).
  • Understanding of the entire web development process, including
    design, development, deployment, and maintenance
    .
  • Knowledge of
    SEO principles, web accessibility, and performance optimization
    .
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with
    WooCommerce
    and third-party plugin integrations.
  • Familiarity with hosting environments, cPanel, or cloud-based hosting platforms.
  • Knowledge of security standards and best practices for WordPress.
  • Experience with integrations such as
    payment gateways, CRM, and marketing tools
