We are seeking strong systems engineers with 15+ years of experience to enable next gen auto solutions on our platforms. The chosen candidate will lead technical discussions with customers, architect systems solutions and work with hardware and software teams to solve the toughest problems in next-gen automotive products.Responsibilities: The job responsibilities may include a subset of the following:Owning the Systems Engineering analysis of Customer requirements with direct interactions with Customer teamDrive technical workshops between Qualcomm and the customer's / Tier-1 engineering teams on important technical topics that require coverage and close technical interaction to ensure customer success.Review internal team development milestones continuously, evaluating and monitoring technical risks to customer success. Work with internal leads to mitigate technical risks to meeting customer requirements.Architecture analysis for performance optimizationSystems architecture for next gen productsDefining use-case flows for automotive use casesUnderstanding product features and their impact on system performanceCrafting end to end solution for the best performance with lowest power and cost footprintDebugging system level issues spanning hardware and software boundariesMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or related field from a reputed institute with 15+ years Systems Engineering or related work experience.Strong analytic and problem solving skills with background and experience in implementationImpactful contributions in a technical capacity as a systems architect or in related rolesDeep understanding of hardware and software domainsPreferred QualificationsExperience interacting with customers and vendors across various geosKnowledge of typical multimedia flowsStrong understanding of SoC infrastructure (NoC, Memory controller, DDR, QoS, MMU)Strong systems mindset to understand and analyze all aspects of a design (power/performance/area/architecture)Experience in debugging system performance issues on pre/post silicon platformsStrong programming skills and working experience in C/C++, SystemC, pythonStrong background in performance/power modeling/verificationEducational RequirementsRequired: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering with 15+ years of experience.ORMaster's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering with 13+ years of experience.ORPhD, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering with 12+ years of experience.Screening Question: Bachelor's completion should be prior to 2009Keywords: Automotive, Performance, Systems Architect, SoC performance, Architecture, Modeling.Minimum Qualifications:•    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
