As our UI/UX Designer, you'll shape how thousands of future founders experience Kalpla from their first login to their graduation moment.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for designing Kalpla's web and mobile platforms focusing on user experience, interaction design, and brand identity. You'll work closely with the product, development, and content teams to design beautiful, intuitive interfaces that make learning seamless and inspiring.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct user research, persona creation, and journey mapping to understand learners, mentors, and admins.

Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for web and mobile (React/React Native-based platforms).

Collaborate with product managers and engineers to convert product ideas into user-friendly interfaces.

Create and maintain a design system and component library (Typography, Colors, Buttons, Layouts).

Design dashboard experiences for learners, mentors, and admin panels.

Work on responsive design ensuring seamless experience across devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).

Ensure accessibility (WCAG standards) and visual consistency across all touchpoints.

Conduct UX testing and feedback loops using Figma prototypes or live builds.

Collaborate on branding, landing pages, and marketing creatives aligned with Kalpla's tone and visual identity.

Document UI flows, design specs, and style guides for the development team.

Tools You'll Use

Design: Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop

Prototyping & Animation: Figma, After Effects, Framer

User Testing & Analytics: Hotjar, Maze, or similar

Collaboration: Notion, Slack, GitHub (for design handoff)

Requirements

2–4 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in edtech, SaaS, or product startups.

Strong portfolio showcasing web & mobile app designs, user journeys, and design systems.

Proficiency in Figma, prototyping tools, and responsive design.

Understanding of UX psychology, usability principles, and interaction design.

Experience designing LMS, dashboards, or content-driven platforms is a plus.

Ability to work cross-functionally with developers and product managers.

Self-starter mindset capable of owning projects from idea to delivery.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of HTML/CSS basics for design handoff clarity.

Experience with motion design / micro-interactions.

Basic understanding of UI accessibility standards.

Creative thinker who can merge aesthetics with usability.
