Overview
The role of an SAP EWM - Implementations is crucial for the successful implementation and integration of SAP EWM in the organization's logistics and supply chain management. As a key member of the implementation team, the SAP EWM - Implementations professional will play a pivotal role in designing, configuring, and deploying SAP EWM solutions to streamline and optimize warehouse management processes. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of SAP EWM with the existing systems, ultimately enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
  • Lead and participate in the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP EWM solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for warehouse management
  • Customize and optimize SAP EWM functionalities to align with the organization's specific needs
  • Manage and execute end-to-end project implementations, including system testing and user training
  • Provide expertise in system integration and data migration for SAP EWM implementations
  • Develop and maintain documentation for SAP EWM configurations and processes
  • Offer post-implementation support and troubleshooting for SAP EWM-related issues
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP EWM capabilities and recommend continuous improvements
  • Participate in cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with overall business objectives
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in implementing SAP EWM solutions in complex logistics environments
  • Expertise in SAP EWM functionalities, including yard management, labor management, and slotting optimization
  • Familiarity with integration of SAP EWM with other SAP modules such as SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA
  • Demonstrated understanding of warehouse management processes and best practices
  • Proficiency in analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions within SAP EWM
  • Strong knowledge of data migration, system testing, and end-user training for SAP EWM implementations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot SAP EWM-related issues
  • Certification in SAP EWM or other relevant SAP modules is a plus
  • Effective communication, teamwork, and project management skills
