Job Description
Role Objective
Packaging solution creation, perform tests, and implementation that are functional, cost-effective, safe, and sustainable.

Key Responsibilities
.

• Create packaging solution for products or parts, providing detailed guidance and specifications to suppliers
• Following procedures in approving all packaging for a specific product line. Monitoring and evaluating quality and effectiveness of existing packaging, addressing issues caused by transportation damage
• Lead complex NPI/NSI Projects Parts, heavy parts more than 1000 Kg)
• Packaging spec sheet review upon receipt considering facility requirement and signoff with supplier
• Create Outbound packaging solution and signoff with internal and external customer
• Outbound packaging solution implementation in collaboration with cross functional team
• Understands all different cost elements that need to be considered for packaging solution. Documents cost correctly in PVT.
• Able to run packaging cost analysis on complex supply chain scenarios multiple suppliers, receiving facilities.
• Able to run loop size analysis on complex supply chain scenarios (multiple supplier / multiple facilities)
• Identify and implement packaging cost saving projects
• Customer Management: NPI Project status to SCM/Purchase Manager and above level
• Packaging Quality issue resolution: Identify RCCA, Supplier follow up and implementation of improved solution.

*Required Skill And Qualification*

• Bachelor's degree in engineering field or equivalent experience desired
• 3+ years of experience in packaging
• Strong knowledge of packaging technology, materials and design principles with knowledge of testing methods, regulations and standards for packaging.
• Familiarity with production equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of sustainability and environmental issues related to packaging.
• Strong creativity skills for developing unique packaging solutions using current trends
• Understanding of regulatory requirements related to packaging materials and design.
• Ability to work collaboratively or individually.
• Resolves complex customer complaints or problems
• Understanding and valuing the perspectives of team members to foster a positive and inclusive work environment
• Paying close attention to understand team members' ideas, concerns, and feedback to ensure smooth collaboration
• Skillfully managing disagreements within a team to ensure conflicts are resolved constructively
• The ability to analyze challenges, weigh potential solutions, and select the most effective approach with the least risk
• Assessing situations from multiple perspectives, anticipating issues, and devising proactive solutions
• Evaluating a situation, considering various options, and planning resources to make the best decision.
• Effectively managing projects and deadlines by organizing tasks and prioritizing effectively
