Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and research-informed teaching at the UG, PG, and doctoral levels.
  • Supervise and mentor Ph.D. scholars and research students.
  • Conduct original research and publish in Scopus-indexed or peer-reviewed journals.
  • Develop and revise curricula that align with global academic and industry standards.
  • Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects and research initiatives.
  • Lead or contribute to research funding proposals (funding experience is an added advantage).
  • Organize and participate in academic events, conferences, and seminars.
  • Contribute to academic planning, quality assurance, and departmental growth.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of teaching experience in a recognized university or institution.
  • At least 10 research publications in Scopus-indexed or peer-reviewed journals.
  • Successfully supervised at least 1 Ph.D. scholar to completion.
  • A proven academic and research track record, with contributions to curriculum design and innovation.
  • Experience in externally funded research projects is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and academic networking skills.
