Role Description

This is a full-time on-site internship role located in Bhubaneswar. The ANSYS Intern will be responsible for validating and optimizing engineering designs using advanced computational tools. The core focus will be on performing both
Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
and
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
to solve complex engineering problems.

Daily tasks will include:

  • Performing structural and thermal
    FEA
using Ansys Mechanical to analyze stress, strain, and deformation in mechanical components.
  • Conducting
    CFD
simulations using Ansys Fluent to model fluid flow, heat transfer, and aerodynamic behaviour.
  • Preparing CAD geometry, generating high-quality meshes, setting up boundary conditions, and post-processing simulation results for both
    FEA
    and
    CFD
    analyses.
  • Collaborating with experienced design engineers to interpret simulation data, provide design recommendations, and enhance product performance and reliability before physical prototyping.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in
    Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
    and
    Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
    concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with simulation software, particularly
    Ansys Mechanical
