You will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Fit and assemble mechanical parts and machinery with precision. - Align and position machinery on the shop floor or production line for optimal efficiency. - Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns. - Diagnose faults, carry out necessary repairs, or replace faulty parts to ensure continuous operation. - Ensure machines run smoothly after installation and make necessary calibrations to meet precise measurements or specifications. - Interpret technical drawings such as blueprints and mechanical drawings to guide assembly and repairs. - Utilize a variety of tools and equipment including hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments like vernier calipers and micrometers, and hoisting devices effectively. - Prioritize safety by following procedures and guidelines during installation and repair processes.
