Role Overview

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer who has hands-on experience building flight booking or airline integration systems. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable APIs, integrating third-party airline data, and building modern web and mobile app interfaces using , React, and MongoDB/MySQL.

You'll work closely with our product and design teams to enhance Dropty's platform with real-time booking, ticket management, and dynamic pricing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services in with a strong focus on scalability and API performance.

Work on flight booking modules — including PNR generation, flight search, seat mapping, ticketing, and cancellations.

Integrate third-party APIs (like Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport, or airline APIs).

Build interactive front-end dashboards and booking flows using /

Design and manage databases (MongoDB / MySQL) and ensure secure data flow.

Collaborate with UI/UX and mobile teams for API integration with Dropty's React Native app.

Implement authentication, payment gateways, and secure booking transactions.

Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and ensure data consistency.

Follow clean coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and API documentation (Swagger/Postman).

Requirements

3–6 years of experience as a Full Stack or Backend Developer.

Strong command of , Express, and /

Experience in flight booking or airline reservation systems (e.g., GDS integration, ticketing APIs).

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and asynchronous programming.

Experience with MongoDB, MySQL, or similar databases.

Knowledge of authentication, JWT, OAuth, and payment integration.

Familiarity with AWS / GCP / Azure, Docker, and version control (Git).

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Exposure to microservices or modular architecture is a plus.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport APIs.

Knowledge of Redis, RabbitMQ, or Kafka for queue management.

Familiarity with real-time data (WebSockets, ).

Understanding of data security and compliance in the travel domain.

Prior work on booking or logistics-based applications.
