Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced
WordPress Developer
to join our team at Binary. The candidate will be responsible for developing, customising, and maintaining WordPress-based CMS websites for our clients, as well as handling the
maintenance and enhancement of Binary's current corporate website
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, customise, and maintain WordPress websites (themes, plugins, page builders).
  • Ensure websites are responsive, user-friendly, and optimised for performance (speed, SEO, security).
  • Manage
    Binary's own website maintenance
    , including regular updates, bug fixes, and new feature integrations.
  • Integrate APIs, third-party tools, and plugins as per project requirements.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, and content teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across browsers and devices.
  • Ensure adherence to
    Binary's IT and Data Security Policies
    .
  • Maintain documentation of development processes, updates, and customisations.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of proven WordPress development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Experience with WordPress builders (Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, etc.).
  • Ability to create and customise themes and plugins.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices, website optimisation, and analytics integration.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (GitHub/Bitbucket).
  • Experience with WooCommerce and other CMS platforms is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent practical experience.
  • WordPress certification (optional but preferred).
