Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Cashier located in Guwahati. The Cashier will be responsible for handling cash transactions, processing payments, issuing receipts, refunds, or change, and maintaining accurate transaction records. The Cashier will also ensure a high level of customer service and resolve any transaction-related issues promptly. Additional responsibilities include managing cash registers, reconciling cash amounts at the end of shifts, and ensuring the work area is clean and organized.

Qualifications

  • Cash handling and transaction processing skills
  • Strong customer service abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in transactions
  • Basic math and accounting skills
  • Experience with using cash registers and point-of-sale systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
