Enveda is looking for a Principal Scientist, In vivo Pharmacology to join our team in Hyderabad, India.

The Contribution You Will Make

We are looking for an innovative and self-motivated candidate for the role of Principal Scientist to join our Pipeline -Biology team. The successful candidate will lead a team of 5-6 researchers and provide direction to develop, validate in vivo disease models and conduct efficacy studies related to various therapeutic areas.

As a member of the In vivo team, you will work closely with our AVP-, Biology.

You Get To Collaborate On

• Take a key laboratory-based role to ensure the ongoing support of drug discovery programmes by conducting in vivo efficacy & mechanistic studies for NCEs.
• Establish in vivo disease models & validate physiologically relevant end points & ex vivo markers of translational relevance.
• Carry out results interpretation, report preparation, and its presentation in a timely manner.
• Mentor and train team members for systems, processes, and compliance.
• Effectively coordinate cross-functional communication to facilitate efficient execution of studies and data communication.

Who will thrive in this role?

• Ph.D. in Pharmacology with 7-9 years of postdoctoral / industry research experience or M.Pharm in Pharmacology with 10-12 years of research experience in either academic or industrial R&D setting
• Deep understanding in pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and physiology.
• Extensive exposure to vivo disease models establishment & efficacy studies.
• Fair understanding about the drug discovery process.
• Significant experience in managing a team effectively.
• Excellent oral and written communication skillsStrong work ethic; scientific curiosity; can do, will do attitude
• Experience in using electronic lab notebook system
