VR XPERT Animation Studio is currently looking for experienced 3D Animators to work on an International Series project.

VR XPERT is developing various international cartoon series and movie projects based on 2D & 3D animations for various TV and OTT platforms . Studio is looking for some experienced candidates in our 3D department

About the Role

We are looking for a talented 3D Animator with strong expertise in Blender to bring characters, props, and environments to life. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of animation principles, storytelling, and timing, with the ability to create engaging and believable motion for [films, games, advertising, or product visualization].

Key Responsibilities

  • Animate characters, creatures, and objects in Blender with realistic or stylized movement.
  • Work with rigged assets and assist with basic rigging/weight painting if needed.
  • Apply animation principles such as timing, squash and stretch, anticipation, and follow-through.
  • Collaborate with modelers, riggers, lighting/rendering artists, and the creative team to ensure consistency in style and vision.
  • Block, refine, and polish animations to meet production quality standards.
  • Create camera movements and cinematic shots when required.
  • Optimize animation for real-time engines (Unity, Unreal) or rendering pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to rigs or animations.
  • Stay up to date with Blender animation tools, plugins, and industry trends.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience as a 3D Animator, with a strong portfolio/reel showcasing Blender animations.
  • Strong knowledge of animation principles and character acting.
  • Proficiency in Blender's animation tools (Graph Editor, Rigify, NLA editor).
  • Understanding of rigging, deformation, and motion mechanics.
  • Ability to create both realistic and stylized animations.
  • Familiarity with pipelines for games, films, or advertising.
  • Bonus: Experience with motion capture cleanup, physics simulations, or scripting in Python for animation workflows.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fresher, Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 5 months

Expected hours: 9 per week
