Home NURSE Required AT Mylapore

The Home Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients in their homes. This includes monitoring patient health, administering medication, assisting with personal hygiene, supporting recovery and rehabilitation, and educating patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Care & Monitoring
- Provide direct nursing care to patients at home as per the physicians treatment plan.
- Monitor vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, oxygen saturation, etc.).
- Observe and report any changes in the patient's condition to the physician or supervisor.
- Assist with mobility, daily living activities, and personal hygiene as needed.
2. Medication Administration
- Administer prescribed medications, injections, and treatments safely and on time.
- Maintain accurate medication records and ensure compliance with the treatment plan.
Use medical equipment safely and maintain hygiene and infection control standards.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain detailed patient care records, nursing notes, and progress reports.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and family members regarding patient status and needs.
5. Patient & Family Education
- Educate patients and families on health management, nutrition, medication use, and preventive care.
- Offer emotional support and guidance to promote mental and physical well-being.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Diploma / B.Sc. in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Minimum 3–6 years of clinical nursing experience (home care experience preferred).
Skills:
Strong patient care and observation skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
