Job Description:

As a GoLang Lead at R Systems, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions using GoLang. You will lead a team of developers, manage projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Your extensive experience in GoLang and associated technologies will be vital for driving our initiatives in microservices architecture and cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable applications using GoLang.
  • Architect and develop microservices with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment to define and deliver features.
  • Mentor and guide a team of GoLang developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and best practices.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Docker for automated deployment and testing.
  • Utilize cloud services (AWS) for deploying and managing applications and services.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to TDD (Test-Driven Development) principles.
  • Manage databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ensure data integrity and performance.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications to enhance performance.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in GoLang development (8-10 years).
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud architecture.
  • Proficient in containerization using Docker.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in Agile environments.
  • Solid understanding of TDD and coding best practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
