Job description:

Rain Cements, a thirty-nine-year-old company headquartered in Hyderabad and known for manufacturing and marketing Priya Cement, is seeking an experienced Mobile Engineer who can join the team at Bangalore, Kolar, Chikkaballapur locations, oversee all aspects of its cement manufacturing processes. The company has two integrated grey cement plants, one in Suryapet, Telangana, and the other in Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh. Both plants have an annual cement production capacity of 1.3 million tonnes and 2.7 million tonnes respectively, adding up to a consolidated capacity of 4 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) and one proposal greenfield projects in Unit 3, Adilabad, Telangana.

Role Overview:

Mobile lab Engineer (MLE) is from a civil engineering background who will be a technical link between cement company and customers. (RMC, Contractors, Govt Bodies, Engineers, Architects and consultants)

Need to show product performance, solve site issues, and convert customers to the companys cement brand through technical expertise and building trust.

Role & responsibilities

1. Knowledge of concrete technology, chemistry of cement and testing including raw material testing (physical properties) with procedures.

2. Strong presentation and communication skills to explain technical reports to customer.

3. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.

4. Should have soft skill knowledge and reporting proficiency (Excel, Testing software).

5. Willingness to travel extensively in the field.

6. Knowledge in doing mix-design will be an added advantage.

7. Assess, manage and mitigate risks.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.Tech Civil Engineering from a reputed, accredited university
• Minimum 2 -3 years of experience in Cement Manufacturing industries
• Aged between 30 to 40 years.
• Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.
• Proven working experience as Purchasing Manager in major Cement Plant projects.
• Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
• Interest in market dynamics along with business sense
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.
