Role Overview

We are looking for an
SAP Native HANA Developer
specialized in
Calculation Views
. The role involves designing, optimizing, and supporting migration of SAP HANA views to Databricks. This is a
development-focused role
(not functional or support), working directly with customer team on-site in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance
    SAP HANA Calculation Views
    (Graphical + SQL Script).
  • Optimize existing views using
    SQL Script
    and
    Explain Plan
    interpretation.
  • Monitor and improve
    performance of HANA Views
    (basic DBA-level skills desirable).
  • Support
    migration of HANA Views to Databricks
    – logic recreation and validation.
  • Work as an
    extended arm of retail's development team
    .
  • Provide ongoing development and enhancement support for existing HANA models.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on in
    SAP HANA Native Development
    :
  • Calculation Views
  • SQL Script
  • Table Functions, Procedures, AMDP
  • Experience in
    performance optimization
    and
    execution plan analysis
    .
  • Exposure to
    HANA → Databricks / cloud data platform migration
    .
  • Good understanding of
    HANA architecture & data modeling best practices
    .
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work
    on-site with client
    .

Good to Have

  • Knowledge of
    CDS Views, ABAP on HANA
    (secondary).
  • Familiarity with
    SAP BW/4HANA
    but must have
    hands-on HANA Views
    .
