Job Title: SAP FPSL Techno-Functional Consultant

Work Location: Chennai / Bangalore

Experience: 8 25 Years

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced SAP FPSL (Financial Products Subledger) Techno-Functional Consultant with strong ABAP development skills. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in implementing, customizing, and supporting SAP FPSL solutions, with the ability to bridge functional and technical requirements.Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze business requirements, design solutions, and configure FPSL to meet client needs.
  • Perform functional configuration in SAP FPSL including data modeling, accounting rules, posting logic, and reporting.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements related to FPSL.
  • Collaborate with functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical developers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth system operations.
  • Participate in system upgrades, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Document technical/functional specifications and ensure knowledge transfer.

Required Skills:

  • Strong expertise in SAP FPSL implementation and support.
  • Proficiency in ABAP development (Reports, Enhancements, BADIs, User Exits, Interfaces, CDS Views, AMDP).
  • Good understanding of financial services processes, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in integrating FPSL with upstream/downstream systems.
  • Ability to work as a techno-functional consultant bridging business and technical teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Banking / Insurance domain.
  • Exposure to S/4HANA environment.
  • SAP FPSL certification (preferred but not mandatory).
