Junior Site Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the supervision of site works, including foundations, structural frames, and finishing work, to ensure adherence to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and report on project progress, quality of work, and any on-site issues to senior staff.
  • Verify the quality of incoming materials and maintain an up-to-date log of all materials delivered to the site.
  • Coordinate with labor crews and subcontractors to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Prepare daily site progress reports and maintain accurate records of all site activities.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Read construction drawings and check work done on site.
  • Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and project documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 1-3 years of experience in building construction sites, preferably in Mumbai.
  • Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards and IS codes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, site-based environment.
