Role Description

This is a contract role for a Blast Furnace Operator, located on-site in Chittorgarh. The Blast Furnace Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining the blast furnace, which includes monitoring furnace operations, controlling the blast furnace parameters, adjusting fuel and air supply, and ensuring optimal furnace performance. Daily tasks include inspecting the furnace equipment, maintaining safety standards, and documenting operation and maintenance activities. The operator will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving operational issues and adhering to environmental and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating and maintaining furnace equipment
• Knowledge of furnace control systems and parameters
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues
• Adherence to safety and environmental regulations
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work on-site in Chittorgarh
• Prior experience in the steel or manufacturing industry is a plus
