Job Title: Retrofit Engineer

Job Summary:

A Retrofit Engineer is responsible for assessing, planning, designing, and overseeing the implementation of modifications to existing buildings, equipment, machinery, or systems. The primary goal of retrofitting is to improve efficiency, performance, safety, sustainability, or to integrate new technologies and functionalities. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, project management, and the specific systems being upgraded. Retrofit Engineers work across various sectors, including building and construction (energy efficiency), manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and technology.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: ITI / Diploma with 1 to 4 years experience

• Experience:

  • Proven experience in an engineering role involving the assessment, design, and implementation of system modifications or upgrades.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Specific industry experience (e.g., building energy efficiency, manufacturing systems, aerospace, robotics) is often highly desirable.
  • Crimping & Torque tightening experience.
