Location: Bangalore

Duration: Full-time

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled SDET with strong expertise in test automation and quality engineering to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java and Selenium, along with exposure to multiple testing methodologies, tools, and Agile environments.

Responsibilities:

Define and execute test strategies for complex software products.

Develop and maintain robust functional test automation frameworks using Java & Selenium.

Apply and advocate for the inverted test pyramid approach.

Perform different types of testing: functional, API, performance, and security.

Collaborate with development and release engineering teams to ensure high-quality releases.

Mentor and guide junior QA team members.

Contribute to continuous improvement in QA processes and tools.

Required Skills:

3–4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with some lead or senior role exposure.

Strong automation experience with Java & Selenium.

Solid understanding of release engineering principles.

Experience with API testing tools (Postman, TestAssure, Karate, Swagger UI).

Familiarity with performance and security testing.

Proficiency with test management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).

Exposure to AI-driven testing tools or concepts is a plus.

Strong Agile/Scrum experience.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
