Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Marine Superintendent located in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region with the flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements while travel within India might be necessary on short term notice.

The Marine Superintendent will inspect vessel andbasses operations to ensure compliance with regulations, and conduct vetting inspections.

Responsibilities also include assesing vessel performance, ensuring safety standards, collaborating with stakeholders, and assisting in vessel audits, inspections, and operations to maintain efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Marine Operations and Vessel Operations
  • Experience in Ship Management and Supervisory Skills
  • Proficiency in Vetting procedures and practices
  • In-depth understanding of maritime safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science or related field is preferred
  • Experience in the maritime or shipping industry, especially with tankers, bulk carriers, or container ships, is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
