Location : India (Bangalore / Pune / Chennai / Hyderabad / Gurgaon / Remote).

Experience : 5- 10 years.

Employment Type : 3 to 6 months contract (Extendable).

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Techno-Functional Consultant with a strong background in industrial equipment manufacturing operations.

The role requires a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, costing, and supply chain workflows, along with hands-on technical expertise in Oracle EBS R12.

You will play a key role in optimizing ERP performance across engineering, production, and after-sales service operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Act as a techno-functional lead for Oracle EBS R12 modules, including :

1. Manufacturing : Bills of Material (BOM), Work in Process (WIP), Costing, Engineering, Quality, MRP.

2. Supply Chain : Purchasing (PO), Inventory (INV), Order Management (OM), iProcurement.

3. Finance : General Ledger (GL), Payables (AP), Receivables (AR), Fixed Assets (FA).

- Collaborate with production planning, procurement, engineering, and finance teams to gather requirements and design ERP solutions aligned with industrial equipment workflows.

- Design, develop, and maintain RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) to support manufacturing and supply chain functions.

- Develop and enhance custom PL/SQL programs, Oracle Forms, Reports, and BI Publisher outputs for performance tracking and shop floor reporting.

- Support costing and WIP accounting, ensuring accurate standard cost rollups and production variance analysis.

- Configure and maintain Oracle setups for production routings, resource scheduling, and BOM hierarchies.

- Troubleshoot functional and technical issues across modules and coordinate with Oracle Support where necessary.

- Participate in system upgrades, patching, and data migration activities.

- Provide user training, process documentation, and functional testing for manufacturing and inventory teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.

years of Oracle EBS R12 techno-functional experience, preferably in a discrete manufacturing environment.

- Strong working knowledge of manufacturing, costing, and supply chain processes specific to industrial equipment production.

- Proficiency in :

1. PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow Builder, OAF, BI Publisher.

- Experience in production planning (MRP), shop floor control, inventory valuation, and order fulfillment.

- Familiarity with engineering change management and after-market service processes (repairs, maintenance orders).

- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Exposure to Oracle EBS to Cloud/Fusion transition projects.

- Experience with Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM) or Oracle Project Manufacturing (PJM).

- Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP web services, or MES integration.

- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.
