Cairn Oil & Gas, a Vedanta Company, India's largest private oil and gas producer, is looking to hire Instrumentation Managers. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing all instrumentation activities in the oil & gas projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations. This includes managing installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems critical for process control and automation.

Qualifications
- Education:
BE/B.Tech in Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering. - Experience:
12–15 years in upstream oil & gas operations (onshore), with strong exposure to instrumentation systems in production facilities.
Skills:
- Knowledge of control valves, smart transmitters, and field instrumentation.
- Familiarity with industry standards (IEC, API) and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations & Maintenance
Ensure availability and reliability of all instrumentation systems - Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of field instruments (pressure, flow, level, temperature transmitters, control valves, vibration monitoring systems).
- Manage calibration and health checks of smart instruments and control devices.
- Project & Commissioning
Oversee instrumentation scope in new projects and well pad commissioning. - Review P&IDs, cause & effect diagrams, and ensure compliance with design standards.
- Safety & Compliance
Implement QHSE standards and statutory requirements for instrumentation systems. - Support audits (ISO, VSAP) and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Team Leadership
Lead a team of engineers and technicians; plan manpower for routine and emergency jobs. - Coordinate with operations, electrical, and mechanical teams for integrated maintenance.
- Continuous Improvement
Drive reliability-centered maintenance and asset optimization initiatives. - Analyze failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
