Piersoft Technologies is seeking a skilled
Automation QA Engineer
to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks that ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our software applications. In this role, you will collaborate closely with developers and project teams to define test strategies, automate test cases, and drive continuous quality improvements across releases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute
    automated test scripts
    for web, mobile, and API-based applications.
  • Build and maintain scalable
    automation frameworks
    to support regression and continuous testing.
  • Integrate automated tests into
    CI/CD pipelines
    and ensure seamless execution across environments.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to define
    automation strategy, scope, and coverage
    .
  • Troubleshoot test failures, analyze logs, and identify
    root causes of issues
    .
  • Track, document, and communicate test results and metrics to stakeholders.
  • Conduct
    post-release validation
    using automation to ensure stability and smooth operations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience
    in automation testing.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one automation tool/framework (
    Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.
    ).
  • Solid programming/scripting skills in
    Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#
    .
  • Experience integrating automated tests with
    CI/CD tools
    (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of
    SDLC, STLC, and test automation best practices
    .
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (
    BTech/BE preferred
    ).
