Oracle FIN Functional Manager



Job Specification: 

Candidates should have prior experience working in Oracle Fusion Finance Cloud applications. The candidate should be experienced working with onsite leads and clients to understand and document requirements. Candidate should be proficient in cloud application knowledge to be able to perform fit-gap analysis, configure solution and test it. Candidates must be detail-oriented and have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Candidate should have experience in leading team and delivery from offshore.

Job description:

Responsibility -

  • Gathering and documenting business requirements, performing fit-gap analysis, as-is and to-be business process designs, prototype demonstration, functional configuration, develop test scripts, client user training.
  • Efforts estimation and resource planning activities
  • Driving various practice initiatives through the team
  • Mentor and drive the team to meet project deadlines and deliver quality outcomes.
  • Configuring solutions in Oracle Finance Cloud application in three or more modules.
  • Working with onsite / offshore model having experience in handling onsite leads / clients handling and working with multiple onsite stakeholders/teams.
  • Should have strong written and oral communication skills. Proactively share status updates and issue reports to the Project Management on a regular basis.
  • Manage and lead a team by being a mentor, coach and motivate junior level employees in dynamic environment.

Skills – 

  • Minimum 11 years of experience in AMS and/or implementation as a Functional Consultant in Oracle Fusion Finance Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience on the latest release. 
  • Experience with project or service delivery tools like Confluence, JIRA, ServiceNow
  • Excellent problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills along with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead a medium to large team and interact independently with onsite leads / client.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks on assignments.
  • The ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects with executional excellence and an eye for quality

Qualifications: 

  • Graduation with MBA (specialization in Finance) or B. Tech/B.E. with experience in Oracle Fusion applications.
  • 11+ years of experience in Oracle Finance with around 50% time in Cloud.
