We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

In this role, you will:

Work as a hands on test automation developer who is an individual contributorDesign, develop and implement test automation frameworks, using popular test automation tools and programming languages, according to established standards and best practicesConduct and support functional & non-functional testing to ensure the quality of all deliverables.Produce documentation on system solutions to ensure their maintainability and smooth implementationCommunicate artefacts and status to stakeholdersUtilize appropriate testing tools for both front-end and back-end Quality AssuranceIdentify testable events and develop the test cases / test scripts.Identify and capture test data to support the test cases defined by the testing teamLeverage the testing process and test tool kit to create re-useable test assets.Document test results and defects, completing Test Reports and driving the test automation strategy.

Proven experience of using and developing automated test capabilities and tooling (Selenium, cucumber etc)

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

Relevant IT experience in automating UI and API test cases.Functional automation testerSelenium Web Driver, Basic Java (8 and above).BDD Framework testing using Cucumber or JBehave.Experience in API testing using, Rest Assured - TestNG or equivalent framework.Experience of working in Agile and Dev Ops environment using Jenkins pipeline.Experience in Reporting of test execution using Serenity / Test NG.Basic SQL Queries - select, update, joins etc.Knowledge of using JIRA & Confluence.Must be able to clearly articulate problems and their solutions in a business friendly manner.Passionate about technology and the advances in it, constantly looking for opportunities to learn new things and bring those ideas to the team.Knowledge on automation tools and technologies for Web based applicationsGood experience in building test strategies and writing good test casesDeep understanding of the overall Quality Assurance processFast learner, open to learning new technologies when neededAbility to speak English as a first language, excellent written &verbal communication skills.
