Job Title: AGM - Primary Sales & Commercial
Salary : Upto 24 LPA CTC
Location: Dankuni, Hooghly
Department: Sales Commercial
Reports To: Director
QUALIFICATION: MBA in Sales & Marketing /SCM
Key responsibilities:-
i) Primary sales/distribution from plant to General Trade / Wholesale / Rail channel (Route To Market)
ii) Outbound Logistics
iii) Managing Sales Generating Assets
iv) Handling the Dealer Master team
v) Planning and scheduling of :
a) Manufacture of all our brand pack
b) Outsourcing of brand pack not manufacture.
vi) Team size 22 members.
Details responsibilities:-
1) Primary Sales (Route To Market):-
- Responsible for primary sales and distribution to the GT channel
- Playing a vital role in formulating and converting the Company's strategy into excellent execution on sales and distribution to achieve business growth and objectives.
- Advising management on sales strategies and business development operations.
- Advising management in Sales Planning & Forecasting.
- Through understanding the pulse of the market/segment.
- Ensuring the availability of all and the Focus brand pack availability at the customer point.
- Enhancing the stock-keeping and stock monitoring capability by implementing the FIFO (first-in-first-out) & FEFO (first-expiry-first-out) principles, defining robust processes and standardizing them across the distribution network.
- To ensure no near-expiry stock is at the customers point.
- Analyzing and tracking daily sales, performing gap analysis concerning targets, and taking corrective actions both customer-wise and team-wise.
2) Outbound logistics:
- Managing logistics operations
- Ensure transportation arrangements for timely dispatches per the dispatch plan and adherence to plant-specific dispatch requirements.
- Finalizing contracts and negotiating rates with transporters & vendors; analyzing transport cost & efficiency, delivery times, quality to meet cost, accuracy, safety, and timely deliveries.
- Identifying new transporters for reducing cost, increasing efficiency, and introducing organized transporters to attain system accountabilities; negotiating with transporters, shipping lines, service providers, and agents to achieve seamless and cost-effective movement of consignment for timely deliveries.
3) Managing Sales Generating Asset (SGA):
- Responsible for robust planning, procurement, efficient distribution, placement, timely servicing, and documentation of SGA Coordination with the management & sales team for SGA-related matters, including planning, placement, audit, scrap declaration, etc.
- Monitor and ensure that SGA Dispatch is as per plan.
- Monitor and ensure that SGA service complaints are attended to promptly. Ensure all cooler breakdowns are serviced and make operational within planned time frame
