Mandatory Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and common cybersecurity principles.
  • Familiarity with security technologies and tools, such as firewalls, antivirus software, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with security assessment tools and techniques, including vulnerability scanning and penetration testing in Web, Mobile, Network & Cloud.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Learn and assist in Network/System Vulnerability Assessments & Penetration Testing (VAPT) using various tools to identify security weaknesses and help create plans to fix them.
  • Support in web application VAPT by finding and reporting vulnerabilities, suggesting fixes, and tracking the resolution process.
  • Gain hands-on experience with Linux and Windows systems for basic administration and security tasks.
  • Help perform Configuration Compliance Checks to ensure devices and systems follow required security standards.
  • Monitor patch updates for network devices and provide steps to fix any outdated or missing updates.
  • Assist in reviewing web applications and identifying potential threats through threat modeling.
  • Learn and contribute to tasks like device hardening, log review, network monitoring, and security documentation.
  • Validate fixes after issues are resolved and suggest improvements to strengthen security.
  • Perform regular security scans for both corporate and cloud environments using enterprise tools.
  • Present scan results in dashboards and reports, and share them with relevant teams.
  • Work with vendors and internal teams to improve scanning and security processes.
