Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled PHP + Laravel Developer (7+ years) to join our remote team supporting a US-based client. The ideal candidate will develop scalable and high-performing web applications using the Laravel PHP framework, while maintaining clean, efficient, and secure code.

This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend/frontend developers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP and Laravel.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, tools, and external services.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX teams and product stakeholders to deliver seamless solutions.
  • Optimize applications for speed, performance, and scalability.
  • Conduct regular code reviews and provide technical guidance.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues.
  • Maintain proper documentation for code, workflows, and technical processes.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and client-side teams to understand and implement requirements.

Required Skills

  • 7+ years of professional experience in PHP and Laravel.
  • Strong proficiency with MySQL, RESTful APIs, and Git version control.
  • Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
  • Experience with unit testing, CI/CD, and deployment processes.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Working knowledge of Docker or other containerization tools.
  • Exposure to project and task management tools
