Grade - Senior Associate (8+ years) Experience -2+ years as Technical Trainer Location - Bangalore Mode : Hybrid Duration - 3 months (extendable upto 12-24 months on need basis) Compensation is hourly based per hour ( 8 hours 5days)

Thoughtworks Launch Is a training initiative to provide new lateral joiners an immersive experience in Thoughtworks' ways of working. It lets people experience what a project at Thoughtworks feels like, as opposed to purely theoretical presentations before going into a real project You'll spend time on the following: a) Owning the delivery of training batches b) Facilitate technical ceremonies i) Project kick-off (pairing with other trainers) ii) Explore codebase and backlog iii) Final review and retrospective (pairing with other trainer) c) Deliver the technical presentations i) Intro to CI/CD ii) TDD iii) Types of Testing iv) Sensible defaults introduction d) Introduce participants to the project and codebase set up e) Ensure participants are getting comfortable with testing and TDD, CI/CD, trunk based development, feature toggles, pair programming and other technical sensible defaults
f) Sharing the required links & artifacts with the participants g) Maintaining the artifacts & breakout rooms h) Regularly assessing the pulse of the room & trying to engage & build the narratives, encouraging collaboration i) Being a support system for participants in their growth path j) Delivery of sessions and ensure active participation. k) Managing queries & routing to the right point(s) of contact in case it is unrelated to the topic of discussion l) Adding all participants onto digital platforms and ensuring everyone has only the relevant access to the services. m) Keeping an eye out on cost management for the resources used for the project. n) Ensure all the infrastructure is destroyed by the participants post the project.
Here's what we are looking for:
Competencies required a) Have 2+ years of experience working with diverse clients. b) Are experienced with frontend, backend, and infrastructure code and have good technical breadth (the tech stack is a React frontend, Java backend, Github, infra on AWS and managed by Terraform -although experience with the whole stack is not essential you should not be new to all aspects of it either) c) Have coached or mentored in the past or have an inclination to do so d) Should be good at troubleshooting/debugging issues promptly e) Are passionate about helping Thoughtworks grow as a business f) Have a high sense of ownership & responsibility g) Are comfortable teaching a structured and pre-defined program h) Can communicate really well i) Are high on energy j) Are a champion of Software Excellence k) Are technically savvy and code regularly l) Have a good understanding of the Thoughtworks sensible defaults and are experienced in advocating for them to clients or new joiners
