What You Will be Doing

A payroll specialist ensures employees are paid accurately and on time by managing payroll processing, processing payments and ensuring compliance with tax regulations and labor laws.

During a Typical Day, You will

· Process payroll payments accurately and on a timely manner in compliance with tax regulations, labor laws and company standards

· Full and final settlement processing

· Participate in payroll testing and analysis

· Investigate and resolve errors in payroll processing

· Processing and resolving payroll disputes, discrepancies and errors.

· Reconciliation of payroll and statutory files and reports

· Filing and payroll tax returns and other required reports.

· Understanding and staying current on changes in payroll regulations

· Releasing of check payment salaries if needed

· Responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters through various platforms – HXConnect, email and Teams chat.

What You Bring to the Role

· 1 to 2 years of experience processing India payroll for a large multinational organization

· Knowledge on payroll of other APAC countries is an advantage

· Knowledge of Kronos, Oracle HR, payroll and general ledger systems

· Knowledge of India tax regulations, compliance and labor rulings.

· Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills

· Great interpersonal skills in dealing with a diverse population

· Able to respect and ensure strict confidentiality of employee and payroll data.

· High level of integrity and judgment

· Proficient in English, both written and verbal
