Job Description

  • We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to join a growing Real Estate Asset Management and Consultancy company who has offices in the UK, UAE and Ireland. The Individual will be responsible for Management Reporting, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting. He/she will support value creation through business partnering, providing critical information and analysis.

Role & responsibilities

  • Manage and review the work of an accounts executive who is responsible for maintaining the books of accounts (posting invoices, expenses, bank transactions, bank reconciliations, A/R & A/P reconciliations)
  • Responsible for monthly and quarterly management accounts for the companies based in UK, Ireland and UAE
  • Assist Financial Controller with annual budget, forecast, and external audits
  • On-going IT initiatives to improve/strengthen internal controls and streamline monthly preparation of Management report
  • Proactively identifies new areas of improvement/automation

Preferred candidate profile

  • Qualified CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience
  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification internal or external audit experience
  • Experience working with Xero/ QuickBooks or Equivalent Accounting software
  • Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, PIVOT Tables & other formulas), Word and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of ChatGPT (or equivalent) with Excel, word, PowerPoint (optional)
  • Flexibility to work across different time zones, particularly with finance teams in London and Dublin
