Skills & ResponsibilitiesExperience 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Test Data Management within telecom environments such as Billing, CRM, or Online Media portals. Exposure to telecom systems like Billing, Mediation, and CRM platforms, with growing expertise in managing test data across the SDLC. Experience working with Unix-based systems and Oracle or similar relational databases. Proficient in writing SQL queries for data validation and extraction. Familiar with Agile and Scrum methodologies, with practical experience supporting test data needs in iterative development cycles. Working knowledge of Jira for managing test data requests, tracking issues, and collaborating with QA and development teams. Understanding of data privacy and compliance practices such as data masking and anonymization, with exposure to telecom-specific regulations (e.g., GDPR). Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving data issues. Good communication skills for documenting processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and reporting progress. Basic scripting or programming knowledge in at least one language (e.g., Python, Java, or C++) is a plus. Interest in automation and continuous improvement of test data processes.
Responsibilities
Support the creation, maintenance, and validation of test datasets for telecom systems. Ensure test data availability and consistency across multiple environments under the guidance of senior team members. Collaborate with QA, development, and business teams to gather and understand test data requirements. Use Jira to manage and track test data requests and ensure timely resolution. Assist in implementing best practices for test data management and compliance. Participate in test data audits and contribute to maintaining data security standards. Identify and report data inconsistencies, and assist in applying corrective measures. Contribute to automation efforts by learning and applying scripting tools for test data generation. Document test data processes and share knowledge with peers. Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and telecom domain knowledge.
