We are looking for an experienced Yocto Lead Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the integration, build, and automation of embedded Linux systems using the Yocto build framework. Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate new features and components into the Yocto-based build system.
  • Maintain Yocto builds, analyze, and resolve integration and dependency issues.
  • Manage the intake and integration of open-source software (OSS) releases from third-party vendors.
  • Support build and test activities on customer reference platforms.
  • Lead and mentor a team focused on tools and infrastructure development for customer projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline automation and CI/CD pipelines.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with the Yocto build system.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and Shell scripting.
  • Good knowledge of Python and Python-based automation frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with GitHub-based development and version control workflows.
  • Experience in leading small technical teams in embedded or build automation projects.
