Job Purpose
This is really an amazing opportunity for those, who have a passion for data engineering and operations, looking forward to taking up challenging work and explore nuances of newer tech stack. You will work within a modern data stack of
DBT, and Snowflake
in order to build and maintain a first-class data warehouse.

Responsibilities

• You will perform data ingestion and transformations from various sources to ensure high- quality data is available for analysis.
• You will design, develop, and implement data models within the Data Warehouse using star schemas and other best practices.
• You will implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless data delivery and updates.
• You will develop and execute unit tests, preferably automated, to validate the accuracy and reliability of data pipelines.
• You will collaborate closely with data testers to identify and address data quality and integrity issues.
• Keep relevant DevOps tasks up-to-date and provide daily updates on progress and challenges.
• Work autonomously on complex data engineering tasks and deliver high-quality results.
• Utilize your expertise in DWH data modeling (star schemas) to create efficient and effective data structures.
• Apply your proficiency in Snowflake and AWS cloud technologies to build scalable and performant data solutions.
• Utilize cloud ETL tooling such as DBT and Prefect to streamline data transformation processes.
• Leverage your strong skills in SQL and Python to develop and optimize data pipelines.

Qualifications, Skills And Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering roles, with a focus on data ingestion, transformations, and DWH modeling.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing data models using star schemas
• Strong proficiency in Snowflake and AWS cloud services.
• Experience with cloud ETL tooling, such as DBT, Prefect, is a plus.
• Solid programming skills in SQL and Python.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, enabling seamless data engineering operations.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities, SnowSQL, SnowPipe, and BigData model techniques using Python.
• Experience working in AWS cloud environments and utilizing relevant services for data engineering tasks.
• Worked in Agile/Scrum lifecycle
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
