We're looking for a Sr Staff Software Development Engineer to join our Data Path team. This is a hybrid role, reporting in the Bangalore office 3 days a week. Reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering, you'll be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable cloud-based enterprise applications in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Architecting and implementing software with strong emphasis on cloud stability, system performance, debugability and observability
• Mentoring junior engineers, fostering their growth and success, and actively participating in code reviews to uphold best practices

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) 

• 10+ years of experience in C/C++ programming in a distributed and enterprise-scale environment
• Experience with networking protocols and concepts like TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, VPN and other related protocols
• Expertise in Linux internals and event-driven programming
• Experience in Network Data Path, Socket programming & Multi-threaded programming
• Expertise in debugging and troubleshooting complex issues and adept at using various tools for analysis

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience developing large, maintainable software product architectures
• Stay current with industry trends and propose enhancements to improve system reliability, scalability and efficiency
• BS/MS degree in computer science or related field
