Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Toolroom and Assembly Engineer to support our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and fabricating tools and dies, as well as optimizing production processes to ensure high-quality and efficient output.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Maintain, repair, and fabricate tools, dies, and fixtures to support manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Perform quality control inspections to ensure tools and components meet required standards.
• Troubleshoot tooling and assembly issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production flow.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, tool life, and process reliability.
• Collaborate with design, production, and maintenance teams to resolve issues and implement process improvements.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines, tools, and assembly equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company safety standards.
• Assist in documentation and record-keeping related to tool maintenance, repairs, and process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in toolroom operations, fabrication, or assembly (freshers with strong practical skills may also apply).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tool and die maintenance, and basic machining operations.
• Familiarity with CAD software (Creo, AutoCAD, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
