Social Worker

• Resident Care & Support

• Conduct initial assessments of new residents (physical, emotional, social, and economic conditions).

• Provide counseling, emotional support, and guidance to residents.
• Develop individualized care and rehabilitation plans for residents.
• Address grievances, conflicts, or behavioral challenges among residents.

• Rehabilitation & Reintegration

• Facilitate education, vocational training, and skill development programs.

• Coordinate with government agencies, NGOs, and employers for rehabilitation and livelihood opportunities.
• Support family reunification where possible, ensuring safe and suitable reintegration.

• Case Work & Documentation

• Maintain updated records of residents including personal history, case notes, and progress reports.

• Prepare reports for management and authorities (child welfare committees, women's welfare boards, etc.).
• Ensure confidentiality and dignity of residents in all documentation and communication.

• Community & Networking

• Liaise with hospitals, legal aid services, police, and government departments for resident welfare.

• Organize awareness sessions, workshops, and recreational activities for residents.
• Mobilize community resources and volunteers to support the home.

• Compliance & Welfare Standards

• Ensure compliance with government policies, welfare acts, and organizational standards.

• Report cases of abuse, neglect, or exploitation to appropriate authorities.
• Uphold ethical standards and safeguard the rights of vulnerable individuals.
