Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Amity University Punjab in Mohali district. The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in computer science, developing and updating curricula, conducting research, and mentoring students. Additional responsibilities include guiding student projects, participating in departmental activities, and contributing to academic administration as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and expertise in Computer Science and Programming.
  • Proficiency in Data Science and Cybersecurity concepts and applications.
  • Experience in Curriculum Development for Computer Science courses.
  • PhD in Computer Science or a related field is preferred; candidates with a Master's degree and significant industry or academic experience may also be considered.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teaching and mentorship.
  • Proven track record of research and publications is advantageous.
