  • Medical representatives are primarily responsible for product promotion of pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals. This includes presenting pharmaceutical products and medical products, discussing product information in detail to drive pharmaceutical sales
  • Building relationships with healthcare professionals and maintaining them is a core part of the job. Medical representatives frequently visit clinics and hospitals to strengthen trust and ensure long-term collaboration. These strong relationships help to boost product awareness and improve the company's products' market position.
  • Medical representatives conduct market research and monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. By understanding competitor activities and market dynamics, they help pharmaceutical companies devise effective sales strategies and plan for new products.
  • Medical representatives manage an assigned territory, plan visits to medical facilities, track sales performance, and maintain detailed records of customer interactions. They use CRM tools to support time management and organisation, ensuring customer needs are met and that they are consistently meeting sales targets
  • All promotional activities must align with ethical standards and regulations of the pharmaceutical industry. Medical representatives must adhere to these standards to maintain professional integrity and patient safety.
