Position: Dentist
Department: Dental/Healthcare
Reports To: Medical Director/Clinic Head
Job Summary:
The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing oral health issues in patients. The role involves performing dental procedures, guiding patients on oral hygiene practices, and maintaining accurate dental records while ensuring a high standard of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums, and oral structures.
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, dentures, implants, and cosmetic treatments.
- Take and interpret dental X-rays and diagnostic tests.
- Administer anesthetics and prescribe medications for dental treatment and pain management.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and other healthcare professionals to provide quality care.
- Stay updated with advances in dentistry and participate in training as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent; MDS preferred.
- Valid state registration/license to practice dentistry.
- Proven clinical experience as a Dentist.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
- Attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Work Environment:
- Clinic/Hospital-based role with standard working hours; may require flexibility for emergencies or patient needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
