Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Excel & VBA Automation Specialist to design, develop, and maintain automated solutions that streamline data processing, reporting, and business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft Excel, advanced knowledge of VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), and a solid understanding of business workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop advanced Excel tools, dashboards, and reports using formulas, pivot tables, and charts.

  • Write and maintain custom VBA macros to automate repetitive tasks and optimize workflows.

  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and deliver customized Excel-based solutions.

  • Debug, test, and optimize existing Excel/VBA tools to improve performance and reliability.

  • Document processes, code, and user guides to ensure smooth handover and maintenance.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, data validation, etc.)

  • Advanced knowledge of VBA programming for Excel automation

  • Strong understanding of Excel functions like INDEX/MATCH, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, etc.

  • Experience working with large datasets and data cleaning techniques

  • Familiarity with Power Query or Power Pivot is a plus

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (preferred)

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in Excel automation using VBA
