Senior Motion Graphic Designer

Position Overview:

The vision for our global Marketing Creative Team at Zynga is informed by an aggressive pursuit of new and different ideas, rapid creative development, and efficient production. We develop creative executions across digital marketing channels that invite millions of players worldwide to take part in our games. As a Senior Motion Graphic Designer on Zynga's Marketing Creative team, you will be responsible for designing motion/video advertisements for Zynga's game titles. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently to generate a variety of creative executions inspired by a central selling point to engage a target audience.

• Core responsibility on a day-to-day basis is to create an engaging video ad of 10-30 sec based on creative briefs, assets available and feedback.

• Contribute to an efficient, high-volume pipeline of User Acquisition advertising, App Store, and live-ops marketing assets or any marketing projects as required.

• Work with the Art Lead/Art Director, and Producer in smooth execution of projects from start to finish maintaining existing production processes and methods.

• Understand, address and integrate creative feedback to ensure projects meet a successful result and impact the UA performance.

• Engage in creative brainstorming, design retrospectives, and constructive feedback sessions; openly share in group settings to foster a culture of creativity & collaboration.

• Create engaging animations, transitions, visual effects, sound edits and video editing to translate the concept well.

• Practice efficient timelines, adapt to different requirements within a short period, understand the production pipeline, and foster quick turnaround deliverables.

• Able to find creative/technical solutions on a case-to-case basis.

• Continually seek to refine your craft and artistic skill set and mentor young designers toward creative success.

• Contribute to the team and the game pod by identifying problems and working on solutions with the leadership.

• Conduct and analyze competitive research to better understand UA trends.

• At least 8-9 years of professional experience developing and executing video creative

• Strong video editing and production skills

• Superior knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Premiere and Audition along with sound knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator

• Basic 3D knowledge and expertise on Blender, Unreal or Maya

• Excellent grip on design and animation principles

• Thorough understanding of Trapcode suite, Red Giant Plugins, Element 3D, Optical Flares, and other industry plugins

• Strong conceptual and visual design skills leading to thoughtful creative executions

• Confident working in an extremely fast-paced environment with multiple projects and quick turn-around ensuring minimum quality loss

• Decent understanding of performance marketing - terminologies, methodologies and creative strategy is a plus

• An ability to manage multiple deadlines and thrive under pressure

• Great communication skills and a team-first attitude

• Striving for superior quality with a solution-driven mindset.

• Strong understanding of 3D pipeline along with good lighting, HDR, rendering, look & feel development skills. Good understanding of 3D organic animation and generic Unreal pipeline

• Excellent fundamental skills of strong storytelling with logical editing & camera animation. Strong compositing skills is a must.

• Should have a decent understanding of Ae expressions & logic

• Good to have knowledge related to Unity & game design
