Position Overview

We invite applications for the position of Research Associate, who will collaborate with the Founders on a range of research and implementation initiatives. The role includes study design, field research, data analysis, and translating findings into actionable insights for programmes and policy.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of qualitative and quantitative research studies in public health, nutrition, and allied sectors.
• Conduct literature reviews, develop research tools, and assist in data collection and analysis.
• Document field insights, case studies, and programme learnings for reports, briefs, and publications.
• Coordinate with field teams, government departments, and academic partners for research and data validation.
• Assist in writing research proposals and donor reports.
• Support dissemination activities such as workshops, learning sessions, and policy dialogues.

What we are looking for

• Master's degree in Public Health, Development Studies, Social Work, Nutrition, Communications, Economics, or related fields.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in public health or development research.
• Strong skills in research design, data collection (qualitative and/or quantitative), and analysis.
• Excellent writing and communication skills in English; working knowledge of Hindi.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Comfort with field-based work in rural settings and coordination with local stakeholders.
• Willingness to relocate to Bihar.
• Experience with data analysis software (e.g., Excel, NVivo, SPSS, or R).

Remuneration

The position offers a competitive salary upto INR 50,000 per month, based on experience and skills.
