Role & responsibilities

  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for machinery, utilities, and infrastructure i.e. FFS, Flow Wraps & Packing Machines.
  • Breakdown Management: Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults, and implement corrective actions to restore operations.
  • Equipment Reliability: Monitor equipment performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards, statutory regulations, and internal SOPs.
  • Inventory Control: Manage spare parts inventory, raise requisitions, and ensure availability of critical components.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and compliance reports.
  • Team Coordination: Supervise maintenance technicians, assign tasks, and provide technical guidance and training.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external service providers for specialized maintenance and equipment servicing.

Preferred candidate profile

Education: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.

Experience: 5-8 years in maintenance within FMCG mainly FFS, Flow Wraps & Packing Machines.

Technical Skills: PLC troubleshooting, utility systems (HVAC, compressors), mechanical & electrical diagnostics

Soft Skills: Problem-solving, team leadership, time management

IT Skills: Familiarity with CMMS or ERP-based maintenance systems
