Role Overview
The Operations Manager at Better Daily will be responsible for managing end-to-end daily operations including production coordination, inventory management, dispatch, logistics, and team supervision. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely order fulfillment, quality control, and smooth coordination across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations across production, store, dispatch, and delivery.
- Ensure timely processing, packing, and dispatch of customer orders.
- Coordinate with logistics partners and delivery riders for on-time delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, and wastage control.
- Maintain hygiene, quality, and food safety standards.
- Track and analyze operational KPIs such as delivery timelines, order accuracy, and efficiency.
- Prepare daily and weekly operational reports.
- Ensure SOPs are followed and improved regularly.
Requirements & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in operations (FMCG / Food / D2C preferred)
- Good understanding of logistics and last-mile delivery
- Strong team management and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting
Preferred Experience
- Experience in foods or perishable goods operations
- Experience managing delivery teams or warehouse operations
- Startup or D2C brand experience
