Bank Reconciliation specialist

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Bank Reconciliation Specialist with at least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in a US-based financial environment.
The selected candidate will work the night shift (6:00 PM to 3:00 AM), Monday to Friday) and will be responsible for reconciling bank transactions and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations for US bank accounts
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and internal accounting records
- Ensure all transactions (deposits, payments, transfers) are accurately recorded
- Collaborate with internal teams (AP/AR, accounting) to address and resolve issues
- Prepare reconciliation reports and support documentation
- Assist with audits and financial close processes
- Maintain strict confidentiality and accuracy in all financial transactions
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in bank reconciliation or general accounting
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, etc.)
- Comfortable working night shifts aligned with US business hours
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and time management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with US financial institutions or clients
- Knowledge of reconciliation tools or ERP systems
- Ability to handle high-volume data accurately and efficiently
